Clear rules before payment.
These plain-language policies apply to Wilson Project Ops website, research, audit, and monitoring services. A client-specific written scope controls where it is more specific.
Service terms
- Payment is requested only after the client accepts a written scope. Work begins after Stripe reports successful payment.
- The scope states deliverables, exclusions, inputs, revision limits, and schedule. New work requires a new written agreement.
- The client must have authority to provide supplied material and is responsible for the accuracy of business claims, eligibility facts, approvals, signatures, and account ownership.
- No sales, lead, ranking, funding, award, compatibility, savings, or other outcome is guaranteed.
- Domains, advertising, photography, paid software, filing fees, and other third-party costs are excluded unless the scope says otherwise. No such cost is incurred without client funding.
- After final payment, the client owns custom deliverables identified in the scope. Pre-existing methods, general templates, open-source components, and third-party material retain their existing ownership and license terms.
- Public portfolio or case-study use requires separate permission.
Refunds and cancellations
One-time work
A payment is fully refundable before scoped work begins. After work begins, a client may cancel in writing; any refund is limited to the undelivered portion of the agreed scope. If I cannot deliver the agreed scope, I will refund the undelivered portion. Delivered and accepted work is not refundable except for duplicate charges or billing error.
Monthly services
Subscriptions may be canceled at any time and remain active through the paid billing period. Partial-period refunds are not normally provided. A duplicate charge, billing error, or monitoring cycle I cannot deliver will be refunded or credited. Canceling does not authorize destructive changes to a client system.
Privacy
- Stripe processes checkout, billing, and payment data under its own privacy practices. I do not receive or store full card numbers.
- I retain only the contact, scope, source material, delivery records, and payment-status metadata needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting duties.
- Client information is not sold. Private project material is not published or reused outside the scope without permission.
- Research may use public sources named in the deliverable. Credentials, private datasets, and sensitive records are not requested for an initial public-footprint review.
- A client may request access, correction, or deletion of non-required project information by emailing josiah.wilson.college@gmail.com. Some transaction records may need to be retained for legal or accounting reasons.
